O’s Notes: This recording of the iconic Richie Havens was actually made 45 years ago! It was a part of his solo act that was left aside while other tunes were overdubbed and successfully released. This is a piece of American folk and blues that Richie performed regularly in the coffee houses of lower Manhattan during the late 1960s.
