O’s Notes: AMP Trio is pianist Addison Frei, Matt Young and bassist Perrin Grace. They sprinkle in several guest artists notably vocalist Tahira Clayton and guitarist Brad King. The music is a relaxed jazz-fusion including four contemporary vocal selections. The instrumental selections are complex yet approachable. All of the tunes are original with Frei and Young each composing three songs and Grace writing the remaining four. The division of mind leads to a diverse approach centered on a common theme making M(y)our World a strong release.
