O’s Notes: This is the second of three volumes of solo piano from Armen Donelian. This release consists of eight original songs that were written over the course of his career. It includes reflections from his education, inspirations and dedications. All of the music is subtle and thought provoking, allowing the listener to visualize the themes. It is a peaceful backdrop, similar to what you may hear in a movie score. It’s lends promise to Volume 3 in 2003, a suite of free improvisation.
