O’s Notes: Pascalito was born Pascal Sabattier in Paris to Mediterranean Jewish parents. He is now based in New York, a singer composer and bandleader at the dawn if his career. His band is quite diverse with Latin, Asian and European members. That lends toward a world jazz sound in his music. He sings a warm duet in French with Jessica Medina, one of the beat selections. We also enjoyed the Latin vibe of “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Here Comes the Rain again” featuring Sarina Suno on violin.
