O’s Notes: Toronto based saxophonist and producer Gordon Hyland leads Living Fossil on their debut recording“Never Die!“It is an eclectic contemporary mix that is mostly original music by Hyland. The mood is dark on most selections with an abundance of free flowing fusion especially on “Lorraine” contrasting with “Satellite”, a saxophone ballad. We also enjoyed “Listen to The Quiet Voice”.
