O’s Notes: The Lettermen are Mark Preston, Tony Butala and Donovan Tea. They are a vocal trio who has been harmonizing for over fifty years. They team up with Les Brown, Jr.’s Band of Renown, a polished orchestra to play a dozen classics. Among the best are the a capella version of “My Funny Valentine/Ain’t No Sunshine” and “After the Love is Gone”. Just sit band and enjoy these tunes. This is easy and enjoyable listening.
