O’s Notes: We liked the standard red book CD version of this session and we have been enjoying the SACD version even more so with slightly improved dynamics. The first three cuts are very strong as we noted in our original review. Wilson wrote all the remaining songs. We liked “Viva Tirado” and “M Capertilo” with Latin accents and the racy “Nancy Jo” featuring Sean Jones on trumpet. Gerald gives the spotlight to his son, Anthony, on “Teri” and he makes a strong contribution on guitar.
