O’s Notes: You will recognize the titles but the arrangements are transformational taking these standards into the Devereux-zone! It’s a good place to be as Livia places warm tones smooth delivery on each tune. Her band ranges from four to seven+ members with rich brass and strings. “You’d Be So Nice To Come Home To”, “Never Let Me Go” and “You’ve Changed” are among the best. If you want the same old tired standards, keep looking. This is a risky but worthy take that is worth a listen, several times.
