O’s Notes: Danny opens the set with “Ain’t That the Truth” singing, strumming and blowing the harmonica and we knew we were in for a treat. We were not disappointed! He has a raspy voice that he applies to stories about his life. There are eleven heart-felt blues. You will surely relate to some of them. There are also a few inspirational numbers notably “Where Sinners and Saints Collide” a story that brings us together. Brooks has been a student of blues foe a long time. He’s a Canadian hanging out in Alabama with a lot of Memphis blues in his blood!
