O’s Notes: Bassist Iris Ornig leads a quintet through ten mellow jazz-fusion selections. She wrote all but two of the selections featuring her accompaniment prominently throughout the set. Kurt Rosenwinkel (g), Mike Rodriguez (t), Helen Sung (p) and Marcus Gilmore (d) are a polished team and their prowess shines without showboating. They are a cohesive team and they swing all the way through with No Restrictions!
