O’s Notes: This is a high-energy effort that really swings from “Countdown” to “Norwegian Wood” to “Inner Urge”. The lineup is Gordon Beck (p), Gary Willis (b) and Kirk Covington (d) with leader Allan Holdsworth on guitar. Originally recorded in 1996, it still has a lot of zip. We enjoyed it start to finish.
