O’s Notes: Pino Palladino is among the greatest bassists you’ve never heard of as he’s remained in the shadows. He teams up with producer, instrumentalist Blake Mills who’s had a similar career as a side man before the duo steps into the limelight on Notes With Attachments. They explore the lower registers of their instruments bringing unique sounds to the stage. The beats are slow, syncopated and deliberate bringing the listener into the experience and encouraging them contemplate the inner meaning of the music.
