O’s Notes: Ran plays piano and Sara sings along with delicate, heartfelt emotions. They play a melancholy mood over ten tracks. The vocal tones are blue sometimes contrasting with the piano but the duo is in concert. Hats off to the Portuguese born Serpa who is fully exposed here. She steps up asserting her vocalese strength on several tracks. Blake is her perfect compliment! Each contributes an original with the balance being heavily worked covers. This is a creative piece that will delight a select crowd.
