O’s Notes: Anna Estrada is a Brazilian singer who sings in Spanish and English along with her native tongue. She has a pretty voice with a wide range. She is very expressive, especially when singing in Brazilian Portuguese. There are many talented musicians behind her including arranger Ray Scott (g), Alex Baum (b) and percussionist Michaelle Goerlitz. The program includes a wide variety of music, the best of which are bossa novas. We enjoyed Estrada’s cover of “Nature Boy”, the title track and “Adeus America”.
