O’s Notes: David Buchbinder (t) and Hilario Durán (p) combine Cuban and Jewish music to arrive at an explosive combination. The program includes eight original compositions ranging from the free flow of “Colaboración” to the calypso beats of “Lailadance”. This collaboration is a fruitful exercise that produced more than the sum of its Latin/klezmer parts.
