O’s Notes: We were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful warm vocal harmonies and vocalese on the opener “Salseo”. This is our first exposure to this vocal quartet. They sing traditional favorites and jazz /pop classics. Odin Thorvaldsen (soprano), Sigrid Langholen (mezzo), Morten Waibel Ern¿ (tenor) and Arne Moe Tvedt (bass) are the voices with piano accompaniment from Olav Nordsj¿ Lund on five selections. They are a jovial team and their enthusiasm flows through the music. “Smile”, “Autumn Leaves” and “Acapella i Acapulco” were highlights in an entertaining vocal program of twelve selections.
