O’s Notes: This is a swinging large ensemble that rocks with tunes like “Pick Up The Pieces”. They add traditional classics like “Love For Sale” and “C-Jam Blues” with “Baby It’s Cold Outside” featuring vocals from Cassie Miller and Mike Costley. The band is brassy with twelve members playing sax, trombone and trumpet. They keep it lively and upbeat with strong arrangements from leader Gary Tole (tb) who produces a fine, fresh session.
