O’s Notes: Pylkkanen plays sax and flute on his nine new compositions. The music has funky syncopated back beats with creative melodies layered on top. Some of the songs are dark, like the moods of Winter in Northern europe but they are packed with rich harmonies. Pekka brings new jazz from Finland that stands among todays most creative contemporary efforts.
