O’s Notes: This is a duet featuring pianist Ron Blake with vocalist Christine Correa. The soundstage is open allowing the splendor of each of them to shine through without veiling. Their arrangements are unique as they make this set of ten covers their own. Starting with the dark mood of the title track their minimalist approach allows us to enjoy each tone and nuance. The mood stays blue through the entire set. Both musicians display their talents in this reflective set.
