O’s Notes: Regina takes a stab at romance on Pagnini: After a Dream. It’s a very good set filled with classic, cinematic ballads, some of which feature a full string orchestra. The lead melodies all come from the precision of Carter’s violin. Top selections include “Black Orpheus”, “Oblivion” and “Rverie”. She stretches in yet another dimension and shows appropriate grace and poise to the delight of listeners.
