O’s Notes: The quartet is Bobby Militello (sax), Michael Moore (b), Randy Jones (d) with Dave on piano. These are polished musicians who adapted well to the unusual live recording spot, Starbucks in New York. The engineers did an excellent job of capturing the sound and the program material includes classics like “Love For Sale”, “Take Five” with Randy’s lively drum solo, and our favorite, “Crescent City Stomp”. They blend well together and stand out on solos too. You won’t be disappointed!
