O’s Notes: This duo consists of two masters with nothing to prove, only poise, patience and respect for each other that leads to great compositions. Both Paul on piano and Gary on bass pause long enough to let the other solo for extended periods to the delight of the listener. They also play very well together, stretching the envelope with a fearless thrust into unknown territory.
