O’s Notes: Steve plays both flute and saxophone to vary the moods from light and festive as on “Song For Anna” to the funky, syncopated conversations of “Q-B-Rap”. Drummer/percussionist Adam Cruz controls the intensity and also adds a Caribbean twist using steel drums and caxixi on several songs. This is a cool set of Passages.
