O’s Notes: Guitarist George Cotsirilos leads a bebop trio with Robb Fisher (b) and Ron Marabuto (d). While most of the songs are new Cotsirilos compositions, they have a feel that will make most jazz lovers feel at home. These veteran musicians aren’t trying to dazzle you, just play solid jazz. The liner notes classify them as a “Blue Collar” band that swings. That is a pretty good description for a CD that works for good listening. Among the best are “The Way You Look Tonight”, “Café 4 Cats” and “Cual Problema?”
