O’s Notes: Bobby packs his many years of experience into this set of 18 classics. He makes the piano sing on tunes like “Tea For Two” and he himself sings on a few. The quintet includes bassist Frank Tate and Howard Alden on guitar, two old pros who provide a nice complement. This is a good easy listening cocktail jazz.
