O’s Notes: Bassist Harvie S and guitarist Sheryl Bailey are experienced, well-respected musicians. They team up as a duo using acoustic instruments in a live studio session. Harvie wrote four of the songs and Sheryl composed six tunes. The groove ranges from a foot pattin’ “Bluzin’ F” to the racy “S And S” and the mellow “Broken Glass”. We also enjoyed the Latin beats on “To Bea”. Their interaction is well integrated on all fronts leading to an enjoyable session.
