O’s Notes: This two-CD set is a collection of songs compiled by Japanese-American, vocalist Monday Michiru spanning 2002-2013. Portraits In Time is a true snapshot of her career. We enjoyed the vocal and instrumental harmonies on “Mi Vid” along with a fine guitar solo by Adam Rogers. “Everything You Could Be” has a cool funky groove as does “Epiphany” and “Will You Love Me Tomorrow”. These are just a few of many hits included on this compilation, a worthy addition to any contemporary jazz collection.
