O’s Notes: Lenora’s voice is rich and strong with warm tones and lots of energy. She soars like an opera singer on “Wise One” and “T.G.T.T.” and bristles on Gershwin’s “But Not For Me”. The program is daring and Helm is up to it. She displays ample talent and versatility along with that of the band, drummer Nasheet Waits, Stanley Cowell (p), Tarus Mateen (b) and Duane Eubanks (t). Precipice is delightful!
