O’s Notes: Rumba Club is a large band with nine members, yet their sound is not congested. This time out they vary the action with some nice dance tunes, a couple of vocals notably “Mi Corazon Te Llama” and four originals. They also pay homage to jazz history with Latin arrangements of work from Coltrane, Donald Byrd and Cole Porter’s “Every Time We Say Goodbye”.
