O’s Notes: This is a free flowing, jazz-fusion, duo-recording featuring Eric Hofbauer on guitar with drummer Dylan Jack.“Remains of Echoes“draws notes from legendary jazz, jazz-fusion, rock and pop musicians (Hendrix, Monk, Ellington, The Police, Jackson Browne…). It’s an ode to their heroes with transformational covers performed in this unusual paring. It may be tough to conceptualize but it actually comes off nicely. We found ourselves increasingly engaged, regardless of the directions they took!
