O’s Notes: Hamilton Sterling is primarily a bassist but also has a fascination with electronics. This foray into keyboards and various sound effects has resulted in the self-produced compilation of Rise and Fall. Sterling touches many genres with a tremendous amount of creativity looking into the past and into the future. At times things are spacey but never out of this world. Sterling compiles a strong adventure that placed us in an early Mediterranean setting.
