O’s Notes: Perry is like the grandpa of reggae at 84 years old! He was a pioneer of remixing and dubbing reggae in the 1970s and is still chirping with his latest release Rootz Reggae Dub. The musical accompaniment by Speak Easy is slamming along with many background vocalists and Larry MacDonald (perc). The lyrics are a bit provocative on “Evil Man Loose In The World”, one of our favorites along with “Ever Forward” and “Some Day Play, Right Now Stay”.
