O’s Notes: Tarun Balani is a 27-year-old drummer from Delhi, India that has a jazz vibe that speaks more of the New York or Western Europe jazz scenes than India. The young drummer composed all of the music and assembles a cohesive team that plays with poise on Sacred World. Guitarist Aditya Balani, bassist Bruno Raberg, pianist Sharik Hasan and Suhail Yusuf Khan (sarangi, vocals) combine with Tarun to make deep meaningful music worth a second and third take.
