O’s Notes: If you like warm relaxed bop guitar you should get to know Rick Stone. This set has mild Latin undertones inspired by a South American visit resulting in a sweet mellow jazz-fusion. Tardo Hammer (p), Yosuke Inoue (b) and Matt Wilson (d) round out the quartet. The music is a combination of standards and originals that all sound fresh. Stone has been around for over a decade but this is his first session as a leader in over ten years. Welcome back!
