O’s Notes: This is a chamber jazz session with Gini playing piano, Steve Heckman on sax, Pat Klobas on bass and Ron Marabuto on drums “Maybe” had a warm seductive feeling that stuck home quickly. “Lucky Monkey”, one of several vocals featuring Jackie Ryan also felt good. Jackie’s voice is deep and well articulated. She has a lot of stage presence. We also liked “O Town Blues” with Heckman stretching out on sax. The bowed bass on “Someday Your Smile” added character to a rich tune, one that rounded out a relaxing set. By the time we got through the dozen songs we were ready to listen again!
