O’s Notes: Restroy is an instrumental ensemble featuring core musicians Nick Anaya (sax), Chris Dammann (b), James Davis (t) and Catherine Monnes (violin, cello) with six guest artists performing on 3 or 4 selections each. They dance on the edge with “Skin” but this is mostly a modern jazz/fusion set. We liked “11 Eggrolls”, “Autumn Must Be Money”, “Uma” and the exotic, adventurous “Twenty-Seven”.
