O’s Notes: This is an unusual pairing of Andy Milne (piano) with Grégoire Maret (harmonica). They play eleven beautifully improvised compositions, mostly new material written by Andy alone and with Grégoire. There are also fine arrangements of “Con Alma” and “Moon River”, with vocals from Gretchen Parlato. All are very peaceful, natural sounding songs that can serve as a basis for meditation or relaxation. The pairing was unusual but appreciated and welcomed.
