O’s Notes: Zhengtao Pan is a Chinese composer, arranger, producer and recording engineer. Now based in Boston, he leads a large ensemble and plays piano and bass on many tracks on Scenery In My Story. Benny Benack is the featured vocalist on “Liar”. The sound is symphonic on “Hometown” and “It Could Happen To You” featuring Andrew Gould (a-sax). We also enjoyed “Mirror, Floating On The Water”, “Nightfall Over Shanghai”, and the cover of “Nardis”. Pan is well-known in the computer gaming world for his scores of many top-tier video games a talent to watch on the jazz scene!
