O’s Notes: Hilts plays piano and sings with soft, dreamy vocal tones. Her trio includes bassist Ron McClure and drummer Jeff Williams. The program includes a nice blend of old and new songs. Cynthia’s arrangements of standards like “Love For Sale” and “My Favorite Things” are unique and backed by strong instrumentation. “Three Blind Mice” is an instrumental featuring a strong drum solo from Williams. Our favorite tracks are “Waiting” and “Bunny” both with excellent interplay between the musicians.
