O’s Notes: Flutist Alexander Zonjic is a proven success on the contemporary jazz scene. He is especially popular on the Detroit scene where he’s had his own jazz club for many years. He surrounds himself with an abundance of talent for this release. Angela Bofill, Earl Klugh, Jeff Lorber, Peter White and Kurt Whalum are among the many special guests. The selection is a nice mix of cool vocals like “Seldom Blues” and “Spill The Wine” with mild funk. There are also some R&B covers, notably “People Make The World Go Round”.
