O’s Notes: Vocalist Welsa Whitfield plays in five different settings for this collection of 15 tunes from the great American songbooks. Her husband/arranger/pianist Mike Greensill leads a duo with Michael Moore (b) and a trio. The increasingly popular Kronos String Quartet, The Gary Foster Horns and Tommy Flanagan Trio are the remaining accompaniments. The music is pleasant and the mood bright throughout.
