O’s Notes: This is a tribute to Horace Silver a masterful trumpeter and a strong positive influence on Ray Vega (t) and the rest of the Bronx Horns. They play with his spirit, a little Latin mambo and lots of high energy. The song selection is nice including “Senor Blues” and “Filthy McNasty”.
