O’s Notes: Halie has a soft seductive voice that is easy to enjoy. On Simply Love, her voice is front and center backed by a solid band including a lush string section directed by pianist and co-producer Matt Treder. After a very busy 2012 she continues to evolve and delight audiences in the USA. Halie transforms classic pop and jazz tunes to her likeness. We enjoyed the set especially “For Sentimental Reasons”, “I Feel The Earth Move”, “I’ve Got To See You Again” and “Cuando Bailamos”.
