O’s Notes: Pianist and composer Fred Engler is a leader on the smooth jazz circuit. His music combines catchy riffs with vocals and explosive solos. Fred also employs top musicians to record his notes. Among the multitude of artists are Andy Snitzer (sax) and Tony Carlucci (t). Vocalist Elby places soulful vocals on several tracks including “Master of His Song”.
