O’s Notes: This is collaboration between drummer/percussionist Bill Bruford and Piano Circus, an all-keyboard band and bassist Julian Crampton. They are performing the music of Colin Riley. It is creative, eclectic, and electronic music with lots of ambiance. Bruford’s funky percussive beats on “Achilles’ Feel” give it a lot of character. We liked the opening track “Kit And Caboodle” and “Squiggle Zipper” best in this free fusion session.
