O’s Notes: African music is generally associated with strong drums and percussive rhythms. This CD has that along with a strong dose of smooth, jazzy R&B. The cast includes some of Africa’s finest: Jonathan Butler (g), Hugh Masekela (t), Jimmy Dludlu (g) and Paul Hammer (p). It was a very popular CD in our household with broad appeal!
