O’s Notes: Teddy opens up with his own tune, “Going Home” where he pastes a cool melody on top of upbeat rhythms anchored by the walking bass of Ray Drummond and Chip White on drums with Richard Wyands playing piano. Each player takes an extended energetic solo to establish the baseline for the set. It’s Smooth Sailing from there as they move through popular jazz classics like “Hank’s Tune”, “Robin’s Nest” and “Polka Dots and Moonbeams”.
