O’s Notes: Dwiki plays all keyboards and leads a band that includes bassist Jimmy Haslip. There is a generous dose of electronics that give this set a 1980s cosmic feel. “The title track rocks with a funky groove as did “NYC 2050” with guitarist Dewa Budjana handling the lead lines. We also enjoyed “Arafura” featuring Jerry Goodman on electric violin. Dharmawan composed and produced the entire effort and it is a good way to reminisce 1970s-80s jazz-fusion at it’s best.
