O’s Notes: This 2-CD set captures the late Jerry Jemome’s past (Something Borrowed) and present (Something Blue). On the first disc, Jerome narrates his journey through the swing era, introducing each title and the musicians to further your appreciation. Part two was recorded just eight months before Jerry died from Leukemia in 2001. But his playing was reminiscent of the best from his past nicely culminating his career and making this a great set.
