O’s Notes: Rosemary was the first singer to realize national fame. Her voice was majestic. She appeared on the cover of Time magazine and even had her own TV show. Many of the songs that she sang on TV were exclusive to that format because of her recording contract. Most of this music was never heard beyond television. A lot has changed since then and this presentation gives listeners a glimpse of Clooney in her prime that is unique with audio quality better than what was heard on 1950’s vintage TVs! She is backed by the swinging Nelson Riddle Orchestra. There are 26 tunes and they are simply delightful.
